Together since 2012, James and Eider form a team with a common passion: English and the different ways of teaching it, making students participants in the opportunities that a new language opens up. 

Always up-to-date and eager to improve, they know the materials and techniques to help each student, motivating them and helping them to move forward.

James Line

TEFL Qualified Teacher & Examiner

James arrived in Spain in 2009. He was a student at Bishops Wordsworth Grammar School, in Salisbury of course, his hometown in the south of England. It is famous for its splendid cathedral and its proximity to the Stonehenge monument. From a young age, he excelled in sports, with rugby being his favorite, which he played while studying at the prestigious boarding school, Queen Elizabeth's Hospital, in Bristol. He holds a TEFL Certificate from the TT center in Madrid.

He is also an official Cambridge examiner for oral examinations in Vizcaya. He has dedicated 15 years to teaching English at the St. George's English School center in downtown Bilbao, primarily focusing on groups whose goal is to acquire an official title, regardless of their level.

Eider Martinez

Teacher & Early Years Specialist

Eider was a student at the Arangoya educational center in Bilbao. She holds a diploma in Social Education from the University of Deusto. She also has a Postgraduate Specialist in Education from the University of La Rioja. She did her internships at the Escolapios Educational Center in Bilbao. It is there, seeing the difficulties of some students with special needs, where her desire to ensure quality, personalized learning began, where English is not sidelined because it is not the mother tongue. Her four years as a volunteer on the Youth Advisory Committee of Unicef Basque Country and her first contact in institutions for people with disabilities in Spain and abroad only fueled her professional vocation to help the youngest in all aspects.

With a C2 in English from Cambridge and her experience directing an English academy, teaching focused on groups of Early Childhood and Primary Education is this teacher's specialty. With ten years of experience working with different methodologies, Eider has adapted to the various paces and needs of each child.
