Pre - Primary

Pre-Primary: Ages 5 to 6

1 hour / week sessions.

We work with specific materials from the Pearson Publishing House, acompanied by games and activities related to the book´s units. The young students have a character who serves as a guide thoughout the course, telling stories, singing songs, and leading them though the exercises, since this year includes an introduction to reading and writing.

Young Learners

Young Learners: Ages 6 to 9

Starting English classes in childhood is key to ensuring natural learning in children. Being in contact with other languages in a fun way is ideal, through classic games, stimulating readings, activities that capture their attention, and visual tasks where they have the opportunity to try, experiment, and above all, play with those materials.

The groups from the first years of Primary Education are based on 1 hour sessions per week. Every two or three weeks, depending on the difficulty and interest shown by the students, they delve into a project where different areas are worked on. With the younger groups, they start with simple vocabulary, basic structures, etc. As they progress, new concepts are introduced, vocabulary is enriched, and routines are enhanced, to build a solid foundation in English.

The groups are limited to 6 students maximum to ensure that they can interact with each other and have fun, while making sure that no one is left behind.

Pre Teens

Pre Teens (ages 10 to 12)

As with other classes, the groups are very small to ensure learning, and to carry out activities that cannot be conducted in larger school or academy classrooms.

These classes with students still in Primary Education and beginning Secondary Education, move away from more childlike projects to have a first contact with reading and writing in English and grammar. The classes remain the same duration, being 1 hour per week. All materials are included and students do not have to bring anything special to the classes.

CAMBRIDGE PREPARATION CENTRE

The classes focused on preparing for official exams can vary in duration, from 1 to 3 hours per week, depending on the pace of each student and when they want to take the exam. Although Salisbury Languages recommends 2 hours per week, supported by reinforcement at home, whether with reading, repeating activities, etc.

Therefore, in these cases, it is important to remember that the task of reviewing and doing exercises similar to the official exams at home is key to optimizing the classes and achieving a sure pass at the time of the exam, regardless of the level.

It is also advisable to request information at the start of the school year to check availability.

Learn Remotely

Online Classes

Today's busy lifestyles, varying work schedules, and complex coordination with children have made us reconsider the way we learn. Online classes help keep learning active, are very visual, and digital materials have advanced to make the most of each class's time.

Using the free Google Meet platform, students, whether young or adults, can practice for their exams, reinforcing whatever makes them feel most insecure, such as listening comprehension "listening" exercises, oral expression "speaking", etc.

Conversation classes are also a great resource for those adults who, without the need to pass an official title, want to continue practicing without losing fluency. In these cases, we recommend 1 hour per week.

English & Fun

English activities

Another way to learn English is with a baking session, or drinking the popular tea while enjoying a conversation class. It is another way to become familiar with new vocabulary, expressions, etc.

In addition, they are normally held on Friday afternoons. They take place for 1 hour / 2 hours, depending on the activities and the number of participants.
